The very first Jeli Book Club, in conjunction with Books Africana will be taking place this month.

Sareeta Domingo’s debut novel, The Nearness of You, came out in 2016. It is an impressive novel, its central romantic storyline drawing on a variety of themes including family, suicide and friendship.
